Special camp is being held for the unemployed

Under the special scheme announced by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, a special camp is being held for the unemployed to become self employed by setting up Manufacturing / Service / Business enterprises. The UYEGP scheme provides for advancing bank loans of up to Rs.1 lakh for business ventures, up to Rs. 3 lakh for service sector and up to Rs.5 lakh for manufacturing sector for youth with a pass in class 8. Candidates, between 18 and 45 years of age, with an annual family income less than Rs.1.50 lakh are eligible.

Educational qualification and age limit
Those who have passed 8th standard and have attained 18 years can participate in this camp. Address proof, date of birth certificates and 2 passport size photos should be produced in the camp.
