Ilayaraja to compose music for Gautham Karthik film

Gautham Karthik made his debut in the film Kadal directed by Mani Rathinam. This film did not do well at the box office. After this, he donned the lead roles in the films titled Ennamo Yedho and Vai Raja Vai. These films also bombed at the box office. He has currently donned the lead roles in the films Rangoon and Sippai. Both these films are ready for release.
At this juncture, he has been signed for the lead role in a film titled Muthuramalingam. Ilayaraja will be composing the music. This will be Ilayaraja`s 1001st film. The 1000th film that Ilayaraja had composed music was Thara Thappattai. The songs were released recently and have become popular amongst people.
