Aavin supply to be normalized from today

The heavy rain and the resultant flooding have severely affected Aavin milk supply. It has been mentioned that milk supply from today will be normalized.
Milk supply was affected since Ambattur Dairy was flooded. But the supply from Madhavaram and Sholinganallur dairies were not affected.
Meanwhile, Aavin has arranged for milk supply from its Vellore and Villupuram dairies.
Facilities at Sholinganallur and Madhavaram are packing one lakh litres each additionally and the Kakalur unit 50,000 litres additionally. On Friday, milk from Salem will arrive and Aavin would be able resume its supply of 11.50 lakh litres
Since the water has receded, production has begun in Ambattur Dairy. So there will be normal delivery from today.
