Deep Depression continues to give Heavy Rain over Tamilnadu

As the deep depression crossed Tamil Nadu coast, heavy rain with gusty winds continued over Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.
The deep depression lay "110km east-southeast of Puducherry and 180km southeast of Chennai. The wind speed is expected to be between 55-65kmph, gusting up to 75kmph," an official at the Regional Meteorological Department, told PTI.
Forecast for Chennai City and Neighborhood:
FOR NEXT 24 HOURS: The sky condition would be overcast. One or two spells of rain or thunder shower would occur in some areas, heavy at times. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 28 and 24 deg Celsius respectively.
FOR NEXT 48 HOURS: The sky condition would be generally. Rain or thunder shower may occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 31 and 25 deg Celsius respectively.
