The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of the Sabari pilgrimage, Christmas & New Year festivities and winter season.
1.Special Fare special trains between Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central
Train No.06122 Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 19.00 hrs. o�n 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd, 30th December, 2015 and 06th & 13th January, 2016 and reach Chennai Central at 11.30 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06123 Chennai Central - Thiruvananthapuram special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 15.15 hrs. o�n 03rd, 10th, 17th, 31st December, 2015 and 07th January, 2016 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 07.45 hrs. the next day.
Composition:AC 2-tier - 2, AC 3-tier - 3, Sleeper Class - 12, General Second Class - 2 & Luggage-cum-brake van - 2 coaches.
Stoppages: Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Chenganaseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam.
Train No.06122 Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central special fare special train will stop at Perambur also.
2.Special Fare special trains between Chennai Central - Kollam
Train No.06124 Chennai Central - Kollam special fare special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.20 hrs. o�n 02nd, 07th, 09th, 14th, 16th, 21st, 28th, 30th December, 2015 and 04th, 06th& 11th January, 2016 and reach Kollam at 11.30 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06125 Kollam - Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Kollam at 17.00 hrs. o�n 01st, 03rd, 08th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st December, 2015 and 05th, 07th, 12th & 14th January, 2016 and reach Chennai Central at 09.40 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06109 Chennai Central - Ernakulam Jn. superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 19.00 hrs. o�n 04th, 11th, 18th December, 2015 and 01st, 08th & 15th January, 2016 and reach Ernakulam Jn. at 05.00 hrs. the next day.
Train No.06110 Ernakulam Jn. - Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 23.30 hrs. o�n 13th & 20th December, 2015 and 10thJanuary, 2016 and reach Chennai Central at 09.30 hrs. the next day.
