Srikalahasti deities Kalyana utsavam to be held in Chennai

For the first time ever, the utsava deities of Siva and Parvathi will be stepping out of the famed Srikalahasti Temple and journey to Chennai accompanied by the temple head priest. The ritualistic Parvathi Kalyanam of the deities will be held here. Now the processional deities will make a special trip to Chennai and will be on display in Valluvar Kottam on 14th December.
This utsavam is organized by World Arya Mahasabha and the Chennapuri Trust. Tamil Nadu Governor Rosaiah, ministers and government officials from Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will participate in the utsavam.
