A Chennai based startup Veuon Technologies has launched a mobile app that can make the process of recruitment utterly simple.
This app makes use of the GPS positioning function on smartphone using which job seekers and job providers can meet up within a specific area within a radius of 5 km.
How does the mobile app work?
The job seeker will be able to find the list of all job providers in the region he prefers to get placed. They can send across their resume for the perusal of the employer. Similarly, the job provider can have access to all potential candidates who have shown interest towards their offer.
When there is a match found, the user is alerted. The rest is left to the employer and candidate to take a call. This mobile app is available for free for all candidates. And the employers are charged with a fee lesser than Rs 6000 per month that allows them to have maximum catchment area of 50 km.
The mobile app was demonstrated at the CeBit show which took place in Bengaluru. Here, the Founder of Veuon, MD Amarlal G Nichani pointed that the mobile app will serve as a solution for all employers from either ends - large corporate as well as small enterprises to get access to candidates of all kinds.
He adds that mobile phones are great enablers. Candidates who are in look out for job at close proximities to their locality can find it here just by posting their CV and a selfie would do too.
The app has got shortlisted in the Top ten innovation rankings in contests from Bengaluru to Irelnad. As of now, HCL, CSS Corp, and First Serve are using our app, he adds with a pride.
