Survey on work atmosphere for Indians in the US conducted

A survey conducted on Indians living in the US has shown that they find the workplace in the US less stressful than in India. Indians settled in America are mostly overqualified for jobs back home. However, many have said that they plan to retire in India. The survey was conducted by Transfast which is an international money transfer firm. 500 Indians participated in the research.
83% of the participants have said that their jobs in the US are more skill based. 62% have said that US jobs are less stressful compared to jobs in India. While 64% of the participants are happy with their earnings, 61% feel that their earnings require longer hours than expected. 60% have said that they work for more than 40 hours a week.
An official from Transfast said, People who come here for work are playing vital economic roles by contributing to the US economy and also adding to the GDP of their home country when they send money back to family and friends.
