Central Government saves Rs. 14672 Crores by way of direct subsidy to the consumer!

The ministry of petroleum of the central government has informed that Rs. 14672 Crores have been saved by the central government in the last one year by way of direct subsidy payment to the consumer for cooking gas LPG cylinders.
The ministry also informed that 3.34 Crores fake gas connections has been detected and removed from the list which helped great savings of subsidy payments incurred by the central government.
