Truck operators calls off their five day old strike

On Monday, following an extended meeting between apex truckers` body the All India Motor Transport Congress and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari,truck operators called off their strike five-day-old strike. The major demand was removal of toll tax.
Finally, the strike was called off on an assurance to form a committee to look into our demands.
Truckers will be represented in the committee and a report on their demands will be submitted by December 15.
