Agriculture fair online in the internet: to commence shortly!

The activities associated with wholesale selling fair of the 585 agricultural products in the country by integrating all the fairs through the internet will be taken up shortly.
The ministry of agriculture of the central government will be seeking contract agreements from the major Information Technology Companies for taking up this integration of all the agricultural fairs in the country for wholesale selling.
The central government has given approval for the integration and wholesale fare of agricultural products to be conducted on-line.
This on-line wholesale trading facility will enable the farmers to sell their products from different parts/corners of the country in any fair conducted in the country.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Siraj Hussain, expects that this wholesale trading on-line will bring about a phenomenal change in Indian Agriculture Sector.
