A new facility called `Dashboard’` will be introduced as an online feature for the candidates who are applying to write the various examinations conducted by TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission). This was informed by the TNPSC Head.
Recently, TNPSC examinations were conducted for the posts of Maternity (mother-child) Welfare Officers under the Department of Health.
This examination is conducted for the first time under TNPSC.
This examination was conducted in 21 centres in Chennai Metro City.
TNPSC Head, Mr. Balaubramanian, visited the Egmore Girls High School, one of the centres where this examination was conducted for an inspection and observation.
He informed about the plan to introduce shortly a new facility dashboard for the online applicants in order to reduce the time taken for the process of documents verification and also to announce the results of examinations in a shorter time.
Under this new feature, each applicant will be given a distinct ID and password. They can attach documents required for verification by uploading them on the internet web-page. The important details like the names, ages, and addresses of the candidates will be registered.

This will greatly reduce the time taken for document verification. There would be no necessity to check with the original documents in the ear future.
Backward, community & most backward community candidates can write the examinations without fees 3 times. Similarly, ex-military personnel can write the examination free 2 times.
The feature will also be helpful to find out how many times these candidates have written examinations which will enable avoid any legal proceedings.
