Anna University been ranked second in India

According to the QS World University Rankings 2015 Anna University has been ranked second in India next to IIT Delhi in terms of research paper citations and next to IIT Guwahati in overall performance in mechanical engineering.
Anna University appeared in the top 10 with a score of 80.7 next to IIT Delhi (82) in terms of H-index citations indicator among Indian engineering and technology institutions. The H-index is based on a scientist�s most cited papers and the number of citations the scientist got in other publications. This index is widely used to measure productivity and the impact of a published work.
The university has surpassed IIT Madras in the latest QS report.
On subject-wise ranking, the university stood next to IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee in mechanical, aeronautical and manufacturing engineering. �The scores used to rank universities in a specific discipline are based on three datasets - academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
