TTD introduces group booking for darshan tickets

A devotee can book the Rs.50 and Rs. 300 darshan tickets for Tirumala Temple (Tirupathi) for up to six persons including self by providing identity proof at the counter in TTD Devasthanams (Venkatanarayana Road, T.Nagar). Special seva tickets will be issued only to two persons at a time.
K. Anandh Kumar Reddy (President, TTD Local Advisory Committee, Chennai) said that the person booking the ticket at the counter must compulsorily accompany the other members for darshan else the tickets will be held invalid.
Earlier, devotees had to register individually at the TTD counter. It will be a relief for senior citizens who earlier had to wait in long queues to book the tickets.
Aadhar card, voter ID card, ration card or school identity card are accepted as identity proof.
The booking counter is closed on Tuesdays. On other week days it functions from 9 a.m to 12 noon and from 2 p.m to 5 p.m and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m to 12 noon and 2 p.m to 7 p.m.
