Toll free no to check overcharging by auto drivers

A Toll free No.1800 425 5430 has been made operational in the Office of Commissioner of Transport, Tamilnadu has been made operational to handle complaints about overcharging by auto drivers. In this number, complaints from the public regarding overcharging etc by any autorickshaw driver who has not charged as per the fares declared by the Government can be made from anywhere in the State of Tamil Nadu. There were rampant complaints about auto driver fleecing the passengers and the toll free number is to enable the authorities to check the practice.
