Dhanush in a political thriller

Dhanush who is currently donning the lead role in an untitled film directed by Prabhu Solomon will soon be donning the lead role in a film which is to be directed by Durai Senthilkumar. For the first time, Dhanush will be donning dual roles. It is understood that Shamilee has been signed for the female lead role. Talks are being held with Lakshmi Menon for another female role.
The film will be a political thriller and a few Bollywood actors are being considered for the villain`s role. The shoot of the film will start in October and the team is planning to wrap up the shoot by December so that Dhanush can move on to Vetri Maaran`s Vada Chennai, which is scheduled to start in January 2016.
