Maruti cars to cost more

Car maker Maruti Suzuki has increased prices of all its products by Rs. 9000. The S cross, which is the newest model to the launched, is the only one that remains the at the same price. Maruti has said that dealer margin is the reason for this. The company has over 45 per cent share of the passenger vehicle segment in the domestic market. It`s entry level car is the Alto 800. The S cross is a premium crossover vehicle.
The revised ex showroom prices will come into effect from August 11th. The price changes vary from Rs 3000 to Rs. 9000 depending on the models. Said a company spokesperson, The price revision is on account of changes in dealer margin and a minor calibration in prices.
