Heavy rain lashes in some parts of Chennai
Heavy rains is lashing in Chennai suburbs like Porur, Guindy, Anna Salai and many other parts of the city, resulting in inundation of low-lying areas. There is drizzling in other parts of Chennai. While a number of subways in south Chennai were flooded, leading to traffic congestion, the poor storm water drain network resulted in several arterial roads stagnating with rain water.
