WhatsApp re introduces Google Drive Backup on Android phones

In April this year, WhatsApp had deleted the Google Drive backup option in Android phone. That was when the company released the 2.12.58 version. However, in its latest 2.12.232 beta version the option is set to be back. The facility allows the user to backup WhatsApp chats in the cloud.
Users will be able to backup conversations by clicking on the Menu button, Settings, Chats and Calls. Here, they will need to switch on the Chat Backup option. Backup can be done automatically daily, weekly or monthly, or done manually.
