Amazon to offer free WiFi in Hyderbad, Pune and Chennai

Here is an interesting move by Amazon the e-commerce giant. Amazon has decided to offer free WiFi internet providing unlimited usage in select bus stops in Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.
This is believed to grab new customers to its shopping platform, especially those who do not have data pack on their smartphone. This move by Amazon will not just gain it with popularity but will back the government in its Digital India initiative.
This being an era of digital advertising, all companies want more people to visit and shop in their site. There were several other initiatives to provide free internet such as the Airtel Zero platform and internet.org which however failed because of violating net neutrality.
In Chennai Free WiFi zones would be located the bus shelters at Santhome High Road, Egmore High Road, Dr. Nair Road, and Velachery High Road.
