ICICI Bank may sell stake in housing finance arm

India�s largest private bank ICICI is likely to sell its housing finance arm. It is expected that it would be sold for Rs 4,400 Crores. Many banks have shown keen interest to acquire this. Bank sources say that no decision regarding this has been made. To carry out the transaction, ICICI Bank -- India`s second largest bank in terms of market capitalization -- roped in Citibank two weeks back.
