Making food at home, and maintaining your busy schedule

Do you have absolutely no time to cook in the mornings? Are you so tired in the evenings that you can�t make a full meal? 

Making food at home is the healthiest and easiest step to fitness. Even if food is prepared in advance and stored for later use, as long as it is made at home, and stored properly, nutrients are  still stored. 

One way to get daily cooking out of the way is to make large quantities. Make 2 to 3 dishes during the weekend and store in the refrigerator. During the week, all you have to do is take out the required amount and reheat right before your meal. Do not heat and reheat the whole amount!

Invest in glass containers rather than plastic ones. Food stays fresher in the glass. But, try to finish food in 4 days� time. And throw away remaining food. 

Make sure to make a fresh batch of any dish at least once every three days. Remember, if you make larger batches, you can store for longer.
