Digital India Week starts today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi�s latest initiative, Digital India Week, will be launched today at New Delhi�s Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. The Guest of Honour is Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad.
The week long event will cover topics such as Communication Infrastructure and Services like Bharat Net, WiFi spots and Next - Generation Networks. It will also discuss launching new products such as Digital Locker, National Scholarships Portal, e-Hospital, e-Sign and Digitise India Platform (DIP).
Launching apps for government initiatives like Digital India Portal and Mobile App, MyGov Mobile App, Swachh Bharat App and Aadhar Mobile Update App will take place as well.
The event will tackle the issue of incorporating policies that will make India a digital country, some of which may be setting up an Electronics Development Fund and other e-Governance Policy Initiatives.
