A new video released by SciShow has explained in detail the difference between fruits and vegetables. Many of us are confused when we call a tomato or an avocado a fruit. What? Yes, they really are!
According to this video, a fruit is something that comes out the ovary of the plant and contains a seed of its own. A vegetable is everything else - roots, leaves etc.
Wait a minute! So does that mean a banana is a vegetable?! Watch and learn!
