3% rise in petrol/diesel & related products sales last month!

There was a 3% rise in sales of petrol, diesel, and related products during last month.
According to a statistics released by department of statistics, while there was an increase of 8.7% in demand for these products during the previous month, there was a reduction in demand during the month of May.
Out of the national demand for fuel, diesel usage is 40%. During last month, 1.51 Crore tons of petroleum products were sold in the country. Export of these products was down by 13%, according to this statistics.
