Here comes Facebook Lite

Facebook has made it official its launch of Facebook Lite which will be a slimmer version of the social media that will consume very less data. This will also work even with poor network connections.
The project had been under incubation for over a year and was handled by Vijay Shankar, the project manager, says report.
Since January, the testing of this app was on in southeast Asia and Africa. Shankar says the response for this app was awesome. As per the reviews received for the app, people prefer this app available in their country too.
The app received more than four stars and about 50,000 reviews on the Google Play Store. This consumes very minimal data of lesser than 1 MB and is very easy to install and use, fast as well. It adds that all the core experiences on Facebook will be the same like the original app. The changes you will notice will be on its design. This new app will be made available for use in Asian countries, to start with. This will be later expanded to Latin America, Europe and Africa later on.
