RBI announces 0.25% reduction in interest rates!

Reserve Bank of India has reduced the interest rate for short-term loans by 0.25%.
This is the 3rd time that RBI has reduced the short-term lending interest rates.
This latest reduction was decided during the financial policy review meeting conducted under the leadership of RBI Governor Mr. Raghuram Rajan at Mumbai.
RBI had earlier announced interest rate reductions during January & March.
With the latest reduction announced in June, there are bright prospects of the interest rates for housing & vehicle loans being reduced further.
