In the upper atmosphere of Bay of Bengal there is severe air circulation and because of this there will be rains in 19 districts of Tamil Nadu. Now the impact of the heat is becoming less after Kathri heat has left two days back. Because of this there were rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu.
Moderate to rather heavy rain would occur at many places over all the districts of Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Pudukottai,Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Tiruchirapalli, Ariyalur, Perambalur of North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and isolated light to moderate rain may occur over remaining districts of Tamil Nadu.
As far as Chennai is concerned, the sky condition would be generally cloudy. Rain or thundershowers would occur in some areas. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 32 and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
