South West Monsoon to commence from 4th June

There is severe heat due to the impact of hot summer sun. Because of this there are severe heat waves affecting the people. This summer due to excessive heat nearly 2200 people have lost their lives. People are eagerly waiting that when this heat wave will diminish.
At this juncture, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday said that with conditions not favoring its progress, the south-west monsoon is expected to hit the Kerala coast by 4 June, three days after its normal onset date. Because of this southern districts of Tamil Nadu will also receive rain.
