Exam for the post of Assistant Professors (Engineering) to take place during June

The examination for the recruitment of 139 Assistant Professors for the State Government Engineering colleges will be held during the month of June. The Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has mentioned that people who are of the age limit of 57 years can apply for this post. The notification is to be issued during the second week of May.
The notifications for these same posts were issued last year. It was also announced that the examinations will take place on 26th October 2014. Applications were issued from 20th August to 5th September. 23, 764 people applied for this post. There was a controversy because the Board had announced that the age limit was 35 years.
Director of Technical Education had increased the age limit from 35 years to 57 years. In continuation of this, the recruitment was suspended. Now the process has been started by Board. Now the upper age limit will be 57 years. Fresh notification will be issued during second week of May. Those of the people who have applied need not apply once again.
