Researchers have created, for the first time, a robot of the size & shape of a table alarm clock!
For the first time in the world, this wonder robot can perform all house chores.
It announces the details of all voice mails & telephone calls as the owner returns to his/her house.
Jibo, as the robot is called, recognises the owner through scan and by the voice and obeys orders.
It provides quick, intelligent answers to several questions asked.
It can give consultative advice on what diet is to be taken during different seasons, what dress to be worn for different occasions, etc.
It can also create a cheerful atmosphere in the dining room. It can also take videos during special occasions and also send them as e-mail to the near and dear!
It can tell stories to children before they sleep. It can also sing tuneful of lullabies and songs.
Dr. Cynthis Breazeal of Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge City in USA has created this robot, Jibo,
This being the first family serving robot is expected to be on sales in the near future!
