The facility for speech which was available on a test-run in WhatsApp is now full-fledged and officially released for use.
Over 70 million persons in India use WhatsApp messaging service.
This constitutes 10% of the customers using WhatsApp.
WhatsApp had introduced the speech facility around a year ago and kept it on a trial basis while making it available for select customers.
The customers who could not enjoy this facility were disappointed. Hence, WhatsApp has now released a version for all android users to use the voice messaging facility.
This can be downloaded from Google Playstore & WhatsApp website.
If someone having the WhatsApp calls you, you can also get the facility to use the voice message option.
This would be a strong blow to the other mobile services like Airtel & Aircel!
