Shri Anupam Sharma is an IRSME (Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers) officer and has taken over the charge of Divisional Railway Manager at Chennai on 20.02.2015. Shri Anupam Sharma is a Mechanical Engineer with a Masters Degree in Financial Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Sciences (JBIMS), Mumbai. He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management Policy from Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad and has been an international exchange student at Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management of the Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
Shri Anupam Sharma has varied experience in various facets of Railway working, having served earlier at various locations including Mumbai Division in Central Railway. He has also earlier served as Additional Divisional Railway Manager in East Central Railway at Samastipur and in his last posting before coming to Chennai has served as Group General Manager in the Rolling Stock Design Division of M/s.RITES Limited at Gurgaon.
