Rail passengers can now make their complaints calling 1512 in Tamil Nadu!

The telephone number �1512� has been activated in Tamil Nadu to register the complaints of all train passengers.
The inauguration of this facility was conducted at the office of the Railway Police SP in Egmore.
Misbehaviour with women, chain snatching, misbehaviour/quarrel after consuming alcoholic drinks, and other such offences are rising in train travelling.
Though cell numbers for complaining have been given for complaints in the area under the jurisdiction of Tamil Nadu Railway Police, there were problems faced while registering complaints from outside the state.
So, action was taken on finding a general common number for registering complaints. �1512� was selected and announced yesterday (20th February).
Complaints to 1512 can be made from anywhere. The information will be immediately passed on to the Railway Police of the relevant location and action will be taken on the offenders.
