As per the rules followed by the oil companies, consumers who apply for PAHAL will have to ensure that their name in bank account and the gas connection matches with each other. In case of mismatch, the plea for PAHAL would be rejected. According to gas agency owners, most customers fail to have their names matched between the two, or their address or other such details.
