NASA scientists have reported that the the year 2014 had the severest summer.
NASA and other organisations conducted this research.
They established that the surface temperature on the seas was higher than the temperature on the land.
The temperature was especially high in the regions of Russia, South America, North Africa, Australia, and some European countries.
The average temperature remained at 1.24 Degrees Fahrenheit and this is the highest for the last 100 years. The greenhouse emissions are attributed to be the main reason for this rise. The scientists have warned that this trend would lead to more disastrous effects.
