Petrol & diesel prices reduced

State-run oil marketing companies has reduced the price of petrol by Rs 2.42 per litre and diesel by Rs2.25 a litre after an excise duty hike limited the benefit of global crude prices slumping to six-year low.
In Chennai, petrol will cost Rs 61.38 a litre & diesel will cost Rs 51.34.
