TTD Tirupathi plans to simplify the Darshan procedure!

Thousands of devotees arrive daily at Tirupathi to have the Darshan of Lord Srinivasa.
Tiurmalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) has been planning to simplify the Darshan procedure.
Some of the regulations are being changed now from the present procedure to reduce the hardships faced by the devotees.
TTD has cancelled the current booking for the Rs. 300/- special Darshan tickets and restricted these Rs. 300/- tickets to be procured only on-line. The number of Rs. 300/- tickets sold only on-line from now is increased from the present to 11000 to 18000.
The current counters for Rs. 300/- special Darshan tickets at Andhra, Telengana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Delhi are being closed.
Devotees who come for �Dharama Darisanam� and the devotees who come by foot are sent directly for Darshan. Tokens will be given with the indication of the Darshan time. These devotees need not stand in the queue for long periods.
They can come in the time specified on the token. Darshan can be completed within 8 hours.
TTD officials are consulting whether these new measures can be implemented immediately.
