Amendment on US Citizenship Law: 50 Lakh persons including Indians to benefit!

US President, Mr. Obama has amended the US Citizenship Law.
As per this, 50 Lakh individuals including Indians will get US Citizenship.
Mr. Obama informed that he had to take a decision using his authority as the parliament was delaying the ratification of the amendment.
The president also announced some additional favours for the residents in America for jobs & professions.
As per this amendment, around 50 Lakh individuals including Indians, out of the current total of 1.10 Crore individuals residing in US without valid documents, will benefit getting US citizenship or work permit.
However, the opposition Republican Party members have expressed that the president does not have the authority to amend laws.
