Vikram I not for Pongal

I is a film which has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. This film which has been directed by Shankar has the music of A R Rahman. The film was supposed to be released for Deepavali and later on it was mentioned that the film will hit the screens for Pongal but now there is doubt that the film will be delayed further as the special effects work and dubbing in multiple languages is likely to take more time.
`I` has been in making for two years now. It has been reported that Vikram underwent weight gain and loss over the course of the shoot of the film.
"The makers are spending a lot of time on the special effects and getting the film dubbed in multiple languages. This might push the release date further by a few weeks. Shankar sir is a perfectionist, so he prefers taking his time to produce a satisfying product," said a source from the film`s unit.
I is expected to be released in over five languages
