India ranks no.3 in issue of passports!

External Affairs Minister, Ms. Sushma Swaraj has informed that India ranks o.3 in global ranking in issuing passports.

The minister tin formed this while she was inaugurating a passport office in the city of Shillong, Meghalaya.

The first 2 ranks go to China & America.

Presently, there are 5.7 Crore citizens holding passports in India.

There is a plan to open passport offices in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim within the next year.
