High security on Kumily-Kottayam high road owing to Sabarimala season

Regional transport department announced that the Kumily-Kottayam highway road will be fully secured owing to the fast approaching Sabarimala season.
The department officials said the security step is taken as the highway road is prone to accidents and as the Sabarimala season is set to commence on 17th of this month. Officials from the department will keep monitoring the place all through the day, all the 24 * 7. Cranes and ambulance vehicles will be kept ready on the highway roads, they added.
