Central Government considering changing of old Boeing planes used by VVIPs

Central Government has started exploring the possibilities of changing the current Jumbo Boeing 747 planes of Air India used by the President & the Prime Minister.
Both the President & the Prime Minister have been using the old Boeing 747 planes when undertaking long flights.
However, these planes are more than 20 years� old. Also, they consume more fuel. Hence, the secretaries of the departments of Finance, Aviation, and Defence will be meeting to decide on changing these planes.
