Tamil Nadu State Government Holiday for Bakrid festival

The Muslim Festival of Bakrid is scheduled to be celebrated on 6th October. Tamil Nadu State Government has issued orders to declare a holiday on this occasion.
A press release says:
Bakrid will be celebrated on Monday, 6th October instead of the originally scheduled Sunday, 5th October. So, Tamil Nadu�s Chief Kaji requested the Tamil Nadu state Government a holiday on 6th October.
The request was scrutinised carefully and a holiday has been declared on Monday, 6th October.
