19 Orders from the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, to IAS & IPS Officers!

Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, is taking initiative steps for IAS & IPS cadre to function at their best & most responsible manner.
Immediately after assuming office as prime minister, he called all secretaries from various departments and discussed this in a meeting. He instructed that all policy- decision related files should not be passed on to more than 3 desks. He informed that he is open and available for anything regarding this and the secretaries can approach him any time.
19 orders issued by the prime minister:
- The officials will be empowered for their best administration. Hence, all the senior level IAS & IPS cadre should perform with the best behaviour, honesty and discipline.
- They should be dignified and impartial on matters regarding important policy decisions & implementations.
- The cadre should always be honest. They should promote good behavioural discipline. They should not be slack in performing their duties.
- They should be easily accessible to the public. They should display maximum responsibility while carrying out plans for the public.
- They should be transparent in administration. When the people belonging to socially inferior classes or the poor come, they should discuss with them in a soft, caring, and affectionate manner.
- They must not succumb to the lure of money or other things when approached by individuals or groups for some favours. They should not use their power for their personal benefits or for friends & relatives.
- The cadre should ensure that merit is the only factor when taking decisions on various issues. They should never give room for partiality.
- Every measure taken by the cadre should enhance the merits of law & democracy. This would help preserve the unity sovereignty of the country.
- The cadre should ensure to take o only their personal decisions on issues public welfare. They should make judicious use of public property.
- The cadre should take the right and intelligent decisions on matters related to government expenses. They should do their best while being economic, Laws, rules, and legislations are already formed. They should never take any decision against these. They should strictly keep away from such activities.
