New police helpline for victims of harassment by money lenders
The Office of the Commissioner of Police, Egmore, launched a new 24-hour helpline for victims of harassment by money lenders last week. The helpline 2561 5086, monitored by the Commissioner of Police himself, will assist those who directly opt for police action or whose grievances have been declined by their local police.
