TTD�s special request to all VIPs: Please do not visit Tirupathi on holidays!!

TTD (Tirupathi Thirumala Devasthanam Board) has made a special request all VIPs (very important persons) asking them not to visit Tirupathi on holidays.
There has been a huge spurt of increase in the number of devotees visiting Tirupathi.
It is even more during the holidays and weekends.
When VIPs also visit during these holidays, TTD finds it extremely difficult and struggles to manage the very large crowd of devotees.
A special Varalakshmi �Ayudha Pooja� is scheduled on Friday, 8th August in Tirupathi. This will be followed by the weekend Saturday & Sunday.
Again, Independence Day, a national holiday, falls on a Friday, 15th August predceing the weekend.
Tremendously large crowds are expected on these 2 sets of 3 days.
Hence, TTD has made a special request to all VIPs not to visit Tirupathi during these periods.
Further, any recommendation letter brought by devotees on these days will not be considered valid.
