Bypass roads to be built in five towns

The Tamil Nadu State Government has allotted Rs 52 crore to construct bypass roads in five towns including Tirutani, Kumbakkonam and Pattukottai.

Apart from this, repair works worth Rs 4.6 crores will be taken up this year on East Coast Road as part of road projects.
