42km elevated corridor between Chennai airport and Chengalpet
Minister for housing and urban development R Vaithilingam announced in the state assembly on Thursday said that a 42km elevated corridor between Chennai airport and Chengalpet over GST Road has been planned to decongest the stretch that is also a national highway (NH-45).
The minister said, �Considering the increase of traffic on NH-45, the state government has decided to prepare a feasibility report for an elevated highway. �
