What has been there for long long time is now to be called unethical. The Medical council of India with the support of Union Health Ministry has woken up. They are contemplating on the punitive action to be taken on the Doctors who accept gifts from the Pharmaceutical companies. Dr Ketan Desai, Chairman, MCI said that the Council has approached all the Medical Associations in India including those of physicians of all category to bring in regulation
